Race this weekend?

You know, it really sucks to get old! For some unforseen reason, things seem to just slip right through your mind and then you get accused of being senile. Call it what you will, I had every intention on racing this past weekend. All be it on my bike, and an enduro, I just plain old flat out forgot when the thing was. I have been planning and preparing for the twins race this coming weekend, that I flat missed the enduro yesterday. It appears, that maybe, just maybe, it was for the good that I did. Seems they had a little rain there and the trails got extremely rutted and washed out. Imagine that, less than a hundred bikes goes over the land and it severally rutted it up. Just think what it would have looked like with 25 quads on it. Sooooo,,,,....

We just might not be able to make the 3 hour race this weekend at Appalachia Bay. The twins have been battleing the flu this past few days and as of right now, are still in bed fighting a fever and stomach problems. (for the life of me, I don't see how having the sh*ts is considered a stomach problem, but that is what Mily is calling it) Unless these two boys get better by Wednesday, then they aren't racing. Even if they start to feel better, they wouldn't have the strength to hang on for a thirty minute lap. It's a shame to, because I have two extremely well prepped quads in the garage ready right now to race the limits. Well, just maybe, I could change those number 4's to number 3's and Mike and I may race them. Move over sandbaggers, Team DNF Racing might have to rub your fenders off.... or maybe not....
